有人说看一个城市的文明程度，就要看居住在那里的老年人。我家楼下住着刘爷爷，已经九十七岁了，但身体依然很硬朗，外表看起来更是像只有七十岁。他每天都坚持锻炼身体，喜欢自己上下楼梯，还会到楼下打太极，放松身心。

刘爷爷还是一位老党员，诸如“嘎三胡”座谈会和敬老活动这样的社区党员活动，总能见到他的身影。他很乐意和年轻人交流，家人和邻居们也很热心地教他使用智能手机。闲暇时，爷爷经常浏览社交媒体和视频网站，或是看书读报，也喜欢坐在一把沙发椅上看电视。每次见到他，他总是会绽放一个大大的笑容，向我招手，大声叫出我的名字。

刘爷爷只是上海千千万万老人中的一员，他的生活也是老人生活的一个缩影。他们健康长寿，生活多姿多彩，精神世界丰富，没有年龄感。上海是一个让人有幸福感的城市，这就是我爱着她的原因。

Grandpa Liu lives downstairs from my house and is already 97 years old, but he"s still very healthy,looking like he is only seventy. He still insists on exercising every day. He likes to walk the stairs byhimself and goes downstairs to play Tai Chi and relax.

Grandpa Liu is an old Party member, and he was always present at the community party activities suchas the meetings called “ga san hu” in Shanghai dialect and activities for the elderly. He likes to interactwith young people, and his family and neighbors are willing to teach him how to use the smartphone.In his spare time, Grandpa often browses social media, video sites, books and newspapers, and sits on a sofa watching TV. Whenever I see him, he always puts on a big smile, waves to me and calls out myname.

Grandpa Liu is only one of many elderly people living in Shanghai, and his life is a microcosm of theirlives. They live a long, healthy, and colorful life, have a rich spiritual world, and have no sense of age.Shanghai is a city that makes people happy, and that"s why I love it.
